"90 minutes in Heaven" by Don Piper

I haven't posted anything for four months. I haven't finished reading a whole book for at least two years. Surprisingly, at least for myself, within two weeks, I finished reading all chapters of this book. This book talks about how a pastor died in a serious car accident, his experience in entering the golden gate of Heaven, and his painful and long recovery on earth. The author(or the pastor) gives me a new insight of how does the Heaven looks like and why he doesn't want to return to earth. You feel loved and you will be surrounded by wonderful, heavenly music all the time in heaven. ( I really like this part) You won't worry about the time and age as you will have the best appearance of you in heaven. The seriously injured pastor didn't even think of his family on the earth (when he was in heaven) as his mind and heart were filled with love and peace. The author uses one quarter of the book to talk about heaven and the rest of the book talks about his long, painful recovery, and his shift from complaining to God (about why God sent him back to earth) to redefining his purpose on earth (to encourage other people who have bone injury).

I have learned that prayer is very important as God does listen to our prayers. Heaven is not just a concept or idea in my mind. Heaven is real. God is waiting for us there. It's a very encouraging and inspiring book for me. I strongly recommend this book to all of you.
